Kappy Design has arrived at Unit 17 with clothing that starts from an unusual question: what if a garment was designed around how it hangs and moves, rather than a standard run of sizes?
Founded in Seoul in 2020, the label makes relaxed clothing intended to be worn across different body shapes and wardrobes. Its idea is summed up in three words: sizeless, genderless, timeless.
The first Unit 17 delivery includes wide denim and fatigue trousers, a plaid shirt, fleece layers, a reversible vest and a corduroy cap. Together, they show how Kappy puts that idea into practice.
What does “3 LESS” mean?
Kappy Design calls its approach “3 LESS”: sizeless, genderless and timeless.
Sizeless describes the brand’s use of adjustable details and generous shapes in place of a conventional size run. Genderless means the clothes are designed to be chosen by fit and preference rather than divided into men’s and women’s styles. Timeless reflects the intention to make pieces people will continue wearing beyond one season.

Can one size really fit everyone?
“One size fits all” is Kappy Design’s phrase, but it is worth looking at the measurements before buying any one-size garment. The same trousers can sit and hang differently on two people, even when the waistband fits both.
Kappy’s trouser fit guide says its styles are designed for waists from 26 to 35 inches. The shape of each pair still matters: a wide denim trouser and a fatigue pant will create different silhouettes.
Details help give the clothes room to adjust. The Two Tuck Wide Denim Pants in Deep Indigo have an elasticated waist with straps and a wide, pleated shape. The Fatigue CN Pants in Khaki use a cotton and nylon fabric with an elasticated waistband and button closure.

The first Kappy Design pieces at Unit 17
The trousers are a useful introduction to the brand. Both have room through the leg, but they offer different ways to wear that volume. The deep indigo denim makes a strong base for a simple outfit; the khaki fatigue pants bring a lighter fabric and a workwear influence.
The Nomad Plaid Shirt adds colour to the range. Its red check, chest-pocket embroidery and relaxed shape make it easy to wear open over a T-shirt or buttoned beneath a jacket.
For colder days, the collection moves into fleece. The Fleece Waffle Button Anorak has a textured surface, a buttoned neckline and an adjustable hem. The Check Fleece Button Hoodie uses a soft checked fabric with a similar relaxed feel.
The Reversible Nylon Check Vest is perhaps the clearest example of Kappy’s interest in making one piece work in several ways. One side is nylon; the other is checked fleece. It can add a layer over a shirt or sweatshirt, with a different look depending on which way it is worn.
There is also a brown Fleece Bomber Jacket and an orange Corduroy Logo Cap to complete the first delivery.
Why Kappy Design works at Unit 17
Kappy’s clothes make sense alongside the denim, workwear and everyday layers already found at Unit 17. The shapes are distinctive, but the pieces are straightforward to wear.
The wide denim can be paired with a plain T-shirt and boots. The fatigue pants work with a heavier shirt or fleece. The reversible vest adds warmth and colour over clothes already in your wardrobe.
